Marketing Management

Putting companies on the road to success with innovative ideas

The world of marketing is diverse; from social media campaigns and TV commercials to annual reports, companies have countless opportunities to market their products and services. But for profitable marketing you need far more than creativity. Students at the DHBW Mannheim develop to become marketing professionals who can think from an economic point of view and make a decisive contribution to the success of their companies by means of scientific findings with innovative concepts, target group knowledge and sound marketing strategies.

Understanding markets and customers with data

Roll up your sleeves for a dynamic industry. In order to cope with the challenges of the marketing world, companies need skilled professionals who are consistently guided by the changing needs of their customers. On the Marketing Management course they learn the psychologically sound and data-based marketing know-how required for this. The curriculum consists of the basic content of business administration, such as human resources management and financial accounting, and basic marketing topics such as marketing strategy and branding. Further cornerstones of the course are digital marketing content and exciting electives that enable our students to specialise individually. They can choose from the following subjects:

  • Customer or Sales Management,
  • Product, Service and Quality Management,
  • Digital Marketing Communications Management,
  • Psychology based Marketing Management.

They can put what they have learnt on campus into practice immediately at the partner company and so successfully mount their first marketing projects even while they study.
