Applying to the DHBW Mannheim
Have we convinced you of the advantages of a dual study programme at the DHBW Mannheim and do you meet all the admission requirements? Then take it step-by-step: from the selection of a course specialisation to your application for the dual study programme and on through to the start of your course.

Apply
You should apply direct to the corporate partner. Use the partner database to search for suitable companies or create a profile in the applicant exchange. Both options can be found on our service platform StudyUp.

Study contract
After successful application you must conclude a study contract with the approved company. This contract must be submitted by you or your company to the future course of study.

Matriculation
For matriculation, the DHBW Mannheim requires: a copy of the study contract, an officially certified copy of your school leaving certificate, the application for matriculation and a passport photo. More information can be obtained from the Servicezentrum Studium und Lehre (Teaching and Learning Service Centre).

Preparing to study
Get a smart start with professional preparation for your dual course of study. Once you have confirmation of your place on a course, you can create a solid basis for your studies by taking advantage of the various options we offer to prepare you.

Course start
Courses at the DHBW start every year on 1 October. Depending on block scheduling, your course will start with either a practical or a theory phase. Your particular course details will provide you with more information.
