Electronics

Shape future technology with a career-integrated degree

Studying electrical engineering enables you to enter the exciting world of tomorrow. With its strongly innovative nature, electronics is a subdivision of electrical engineering which plays a particularly decisive role in technical progress and new technologies: be it in surveillance, network, automotive or aviation technology or in entertainment fields. The demand for skilled personnel is increasing, the variety of roles is almost limitless. This is precisely what makes our field of study particularly attractive.

Advancing industry 4.0 with microelectronics

But what exactly do electronics engineers do? They develop, monitor and control electronic devices, plants and systems. They manage complex communication networks and achieve novel solutions with modern microelectronics. No tablet, no pacemaker, no motor and no networked production system would be conceivable without them. With their specialist knowledge, our students make an important contribution to pioneering technical developments and Germany's international competitiveness.

Bachelor of Engineering including work experience

In order to be able to fulfil these exciting roles, our students are taught everything they need to know by lecturers with industry-specific expertise. Fundamental electronics content is combined with units for product lifecycle management, control and microcomputer technology as well as programming and developing electronic systems. Also included in the curriculum: design theory and computer-aided engineering in electronics development. Equipped with high-quality expertise our students can immediately apply the knowledge they have acquired at the partner company, making them ideally prepared for this forward-looking profession after graduation.
